Liam Hemsworth of 'The Hunger Games' cast nominated for Teen Choice Awards

When it comes to the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, the odds are certainly in the favor of the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ smash hit novel.
“The Hunger Games” has been recently nominated for no less than 11 possible categories at the Teen Choice Awards event, not unlike the popular MTV Movie Awards. However, what may strike surprise to some of the different district fans is Liam Hemsworth, who stars as best friend Gale Hawthorne, and his nomination.

Recently announced this Monday on Fox, Hemsworth is a potential candidate for Male Choice Scene Stealer in the first “Hunger Games” film. While there is no doubt that the actor is skilled in his own right, it may be strange considering that Katniss Everdeen’s close friend is hardly seen the entire movie.
