After a flurry of reports regarding the casting of Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, producer Nina Jacobson publicly reassured fans that casting directors had not narrowed down their picks to three big name actors. She told the LA Times that the rumors are just that -- rumors!
However, just today, another report surfaced that one of the actors included in the rumor buzz (and a long-time fan favorite for the role) -- Garrett Hedlund, had auditioned for the role of Finnick. According to Lainey Gossip, Hedlund auditioned earlier this month, but Lionsgate is still considering other possible actors.
